We are pattern makers e criamos moldes para bebé e criança.
Children's clothing covers many ages.
Adjusting measurements from age to age can vary significantly, It is necessary to have knowledge about the human growth when developing patterns for babies and children
A child from 2 to 3 years old does not develop in the same way as a child from 6 to 7 years old. Therefore, we always have to take into account the size the customer desires before developing a pattern for a garment.
In addition to following a children's size chart, we need to know if the customer intends to make the garment in woven fabric or knit fabric, as the measurements to consider will be quite different.
Another aspect to consider is the desired style and shape that the customer wants for their brand and garments. It can be loose and flowy silhouettes or more fitted lines.
All these particularities should be analyzed by exchanging ideas and opinions with the customer whenever possible.
Creating babies patterns
Based on our size chart, we have developed the patterns of a pair of shorts for the 3-years-old size, The shorts have an elastic waistband, and the belt is gathered at the back to allow for adjustment and enhanced comfort
The shorts feature two buttons in the front and two buttons in the back, allowing the option to attach suspenders if the customer wishes to use them.

Sample garment sewing
After completing the pattern, we cut the fabric in a similar material of the client desires and sewed a garment to check for any potential calculation or construction errors.
When the prototype is finish, we add the buttons. The distance between them will define where we will place the suspenders. These cannot be too far apart as they could fall off the shoulders, nor too close together so as not to cause discomfort to the neck.
Size chart
The garment is ready, however, we need to take note of the measurements for future reference.
We added an image of the garment to the table and also included a description of the measurements, as we consider this data important for future reference. This will allow us to maintain control over the measurements and create the larger and smaller sizes.
