March was a challenging month with a new project that pleased us and put us to the test.
Our client proposed a group of completely unusual pieces but needed to know how to bring them into practice.
We loved the initial ideas: a coat with 4 sleeves and 2 hoods, a t-shirt with 2 overlapping sleeves in different fabrics, and finally, a top made of a very fine and stretchy knit with an oversized hood covering the entire face.
The first challenge was choosing the materials for each piece, as the client had no specific ideas in mind. They only indicated that they wanted a "streetwear" line.
Next, we had to create the patterns for the materials and shapes. The pieces needed to be loose-fitting, with minimal seams, featuring sporty lines but without being over the top.
In summary, for this new project, the main idea was that all the designs should share a common theme and be able to be worn together as a cohesive collection

For the coat, we chose a thick, blue fabric. It had a diagonal stripe pattern in the same color, which gave it a classic coat / sporty jacket effect.

For the t-shirt with overlapping sleeves, we chose a blended knit or wool fabric, and a ribbed material for tube-like sleeves that would extend from under the short sleeves.

For the fitted halter top, we chose the same ribbed fabric used for the tube sleeves of the t-shirt—a thin knit with ample elasticity to conform to each person's shape. The oversized hood was designed to have a loose and draped effect as per the client's request
